One Pedal at a Time: Pioneering Progress and Partnerships in 2024

Revolutionizing the Ride, Shaping a Purpose-Driven Future

The cycling revolution is here, and at Seagull’s Cycles in Eagle, CO, our mission is to lead from the front. The 2024 riding season was more than just a year of pushing pedals; it was a year of purpose-driven progress. Together with our incredible community, we broke molds, embraced change, and evolved in ways that forever transformed the ride.  We believe in cycling as a sport AND as a tool for creating impact. From empowering young girls through our partnerships to blending mental health awareness with mindful rides, this year has prioritized community, purpose, and passion. 

Progress Through Purpose: How We Embraced Evolution in 2024  

We’ve learned in 2024 that progress comes when you challenge the status quo. This year, Seagull’s Cycles sold 48 Transition Bikes, earning us recognition as a top dealer—a badge we wear with pride. It didn’t stop there. Our growth caught the attention of Transition Bikes themselves, and Kyle, our fearless leader, was invited to test their highly anticipated 2025 models. This partnership wasn’t just about selling bikes; it was about redefining what a bike shop could be.  We are a hub for purpose-driven cycling.  

Partnerships That Made a Difference  

None of this progress would have been possible without the powerful partnerships we’ve built. In 2024, we worked with brands and groups that share our vision for positive change, including:  

• Thanks Vail Health for leading the charge in mental health advocacy.  We teamed up for The Send, a fundraiser for suicide prevention awareness. The ride was a chance to reflect and ride with purpose, while raising awareness for mental health.  
• Thanks The Cycle Effect for empowering young female cyclists. Through this partnership, we empowered young girls to take up cycling, helping them grow in confidence and strength by producing the first Seagull’s Swap which benefited The Cycle Effect.   

• Thanks Speak Up Reach Out for their unwavering commitment to mental health awareness.  During The Send, together, we raised awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, reminding our community that you are not alone.   
• Thanks Eagle Climbing for bringing the cycling and climbing communities together.  We strengthened the connection between cycling and climbing, two sports with a shared passion for the outdoors and personal challenge by providing an outlet for kiddos to get their yayas out at The Send after party while parents connected with their neighbors.
• Thanks Transition Bikes for hosting a Demo Day where we were able to get folks on bikes that align with their values.

Pioneering a Rebel-Evolution: Breaking Molds in the Bike Shop Industry  

We’re about community, personal growth, and, yes, a bit of rebellion against the way things have always been done.  In 2024, we doubled down on breaking away from the traditional bike shop model. We fostered a space where inclusivity thrived, where innovation wasn’t just welcome but celebrated, and where progress was measured not by profits AND purpose.  By embracing change, we’ve been able to create something truly unique—a bike shop where every interaction, ride, and event has meaning beyond the bike itself. We’re building a better cycling community.
